My "Secret Weapon"

Like many "better than average" marketers, I understand
that you should use things that have been proven to work
in the past in your marketing. You don't need to spend
time creating cute new clever tools. Someone put in the
blood, sweat,and tears to validate many marketing tools
long ago. These tools continue to work today and will
for a long time.

One of these proven tools is photos of children or puppies.
Actually photos of any pet (or cute animal) would probably
work, but since most people in my market own dogs, I stick
with puppies, and children.

Since I own a Shitzu, I use photos that I have of the dog,
or of me and the dog in some of my promotions.

I also use cute photos of my granddaughter in some of my
promos. An example can be seen at:

far on the page. On this page, I am thinking about getting
a little cute,and making the sales letter "from" my
two-year-old granddaughter. However, I'd only be split
testing,since obviously she doesn't write sales copy.

Actually, she could probably write sales copy as good as
some of the stuff that I've read lately :-)

The
right caption under this photo would probably work well,
which reminds me of another point. Always use captions
under your photos. After the headline and P.S., photo
captions are one of the most read items on any page. The
right caption CAN close a sale :-)

The url that I showed you above DOES convert well. So,
if you want to study a salespage that converts, check it
out. Since I started with a salespage given to me when
I purchased rights to this product, I basically read it
throught and looked for places to improve it. Adding
the photo is one change that I'll share with you.
