Not Really Listening Can Be COSTLY!

Sometime We Simply Don't Listen and Miss Great Opportunities

Back in 1979, my Business Law professor at North Carolina
State University.... in a moment of bragging about how much
money he made, and how easily he made it, revealed to the
entire class of college sophomores a very powerful secret of
the rich...

He told how he... bankers, mortgage brokers, and other lawyers,
often bought house and properties worth hundreds of thousands
for PENNIES on the dollar. In that same tirade he told how
he routinely earned at least 30% interest on his dollar...
with NO risk.

That message didn't sink in with most of the students in that
class. Had it, I'd be tens of millions of dollars richer today.

He also told how he'd won a multi-million dollar lawsuit against
the government.... His share of the settlement, for a case he
took on a contingency basis, was millions! We found that more
fascinating. I think that impressed these misguided students more.

Here's the big secret that was shared with me in 1979, but that
didnt' register with me until nearly 25 years later, when a
friend worth several hundred million shared the same secret
with me. When it did finally sink in... after a 3 hour "lunch"
at a seminar in Orlando, life changed!

Sometimes we simply aren't ready for the message... so it goes
right over our head... that's life. If you're ready, check

The American Dream used to be owning a home...now the American Dream is getting money for nothing.

Ironic how those students made the mental break from the work-centered home ownership dream to the free money dream during a story about flipping houses!
