I only listed 6 because of limitations in the subject line.
I'm not exactly sure of the formula that John uses to rank
"gurus" but I find myself in some VERY good company. I
also know that when I hear all of those last names, those
are the people that I think of first in the world of IM
and or direct marketing :-)
Whether you like the word "guru" or not, John's site is a
valuable reference to just check out some IM'er and see
what they're all about.
When I really want to check someone out though, I often
go to The Way Back Machine... http://www.archive.org
At the Way Back Machine, you can type in a URL and confirm
how long a given website has been online, and even glance
at what it looked like over time. I sometimes do that we
I visit a website where the webmaster says he's been in
business online for 5 years... and I've never heard of him.
The snapshots at the Way Back Machine don't prove that the
person hasn't been online longer... they could have used a
different website before getting that one online. For
example, my first websites were hosted at FreeYellow,
AngelFire, and Hypermart. I went for the free hosting until
I was beat into submission by caring friends... and finally
got a real domain name
By the way, I did an interview with GuruDAQ a week or so ago.
I'd expect that to be available through the site soon. We
spent a lot of time during that interview talking about
habits, mindset, daily schedule, prioritizing, and even a
little Law of Attraction.
I think that you'll enjoy the interview, when it's up.
Take a look at John's site. If you don't see your favorite
Internet marketers... whom you've actually learned something
priceless from, click on the "Add a Guru" link in the upper
left and nominate them ;-)
Now I just need to figure out Ken Evoy and Derek Gehl's
