The Hot Seat Panel Of Experts - Let Them Brainstorm Your Next Project
Probably the BEST part of most Internet marketing seminars
that I've attended in recent years, are the hot seat session.
This is where volunteer attendees get up front, usually with
a brief PowerPoint Presentation, and they explain one of their
pet projects. They tell what they are doing, and why.
Then they stand there and take it as the "distinguished"
panel of experts offer constructive feedback, and their
best ideas.
Actually, I've seen some well-known marketers who put their
projects on the hot seat, and it lead them to major winners!
This was one of the hot seat panels at the June 2008
JV Alert Live in Philadelphia.
What was different about these panels as compared to
previous ones that I'd been on is that many of the
panelist on the back row were often Twittering. I
don't see anyone Twittering in this shot but it's
obvious in many other shots.
