Internet Marketing Beginners, Here's The Big Secret!

Like many people struggling to make a better life for themselves,
and their families, you stumbled across the Internet as a
possible way to do this. You read about all of the big success
stories, and began planning how you would join their ranks.

After several YEARS of working long and hard at building your
websites, generating traffic, and even creating a few of your
own products, you discover that you're working harder for
yourself than any boss would ever expect. You also calculate
that you're earning LESS per hour than you'd earn working in a
fast food restaurant.

After many more hours of intense study, the light bulb finally
comes on. You see a way to shortcut the climb to success. If
you could just get one of those people with the HUGE lists to
recommend your product to their lists, you'd be "set for life."

Now the question becomes, “How do you get their attention, and
convince them that it's in their best interest to promote your
product to their lists?”

Please allow me to inject just a little brutal reality for you
here...

First of all, those people with list of 50,000... 100,000...
even 250,000 subscribers get bombarded with request to promote
all types of products every day. I personally receive more
software, ebooks, huge DVD courses, and accesses to membership
sites, than I can ever look at. The FedEx guy drops off
unexpected, and unrequested, packages to my house several times
per week. My home office has about $20,000 worth of products
stacked up in a corner that I don't anticipate ever working my
way completely through… since new stuff arrives regularly.

Knowing that first fact, it's actually probably easier to
focus on those with somewhat smaller list when seeking joint
venture partners. Honestly, many of those with smaller list also
have much more responsive lists. The smaller lists are sometime
more responsive because they haven't been desensitized by being
constantly bombarded with "special offers."

List owners who get flooded with JV offers need a system of
screening which offers they will take a serious look at in their
very limited spare time. Often that filter is friends. If one
of their friends recommends that they promote a product, they're
more likely to take a serious look at. Their friends pre-screen
offers.

A second type of filter is certain "high powered" individuals that
have managed to gain a reputation for only presenting the big
dogs with world-class joint venture offers. These individuals
often work as "JV brokers." Since they make the job of large
list owners, and the job of those seeking to introduce products
to the marketplace, easier, they serve a very useful function.
In exchange for brokering deals, and getting products noticed
that might otherwise die on the vine, they get paid a percentage
commission for putting the joint ventures together.

In my work as a JV broker, I quickly recognized a second point
that you need to acknowledge. Large list owner, and those with
the attention of your target audience, often prefer selling big
ticket items. They can tell their lists about a $29 piece of
software that they earn $15 on each sale from, or they can tell
their lists about a $997 course where they earn $498 on each
sale. Assuming that either choice requires the same amount of
work, which do you think your typical "top shelf” marketer is
going to choose?

When you start to develop your own products, realize that you
will need products that span a wide range of price points,
but that you'll get those with the large lists most excited
about helping you by approaching them with products "big
ticket" enough to make promoting them worthwhile. Developing
and launch one of these big ticket items is really no more
difficult than launching a simple ebook. You go through the
same product launch sequence... the same product launch

Outside of a JV broker, a recommendation from a friend of
a "top shelf” marketer, or just plain luck, your best way to
get the attention of one of the large list owners is negotiating
face-to-face during a live seminar or conference. At these
events, big-name marketers, and the speakers, are very
accessible. Over dinner, or in the hallway during a break,
it's very easy to "strike up a conversation" with one of them.
It's natural during one of these conversations for them to ask
you what you do. When you're asked that question, if you're
ready with a concise, thought-provoking answer, you may get
that big break.

summary list published from an authority site such as:

a great site to bookmark and visit frequently. Often, you'll
discover free, or low-cost, event near you. This site also lists

and organizations.

An Overview Of The Blackberry

Unless you have spent part of the past few years in a cave or
under a rock, you have heard of the Blackberry. However, and
with that said, even though you may have heard of the
Blackberry, you may now know exactly what a Blackberry is in
essence. Therefore, this article has been prepared to provide
you with some basic information about the Blackberry.

In basic terms, a Blackberry is a line of mobile communication
devices that allow you to undertake a number of different tasks
through the use of the Blackberry itself. For example, a
Blackberry is designed to allow you to read and respond to

Many who have taken to the Blackberry have sung its praises
because it is easy to use. It has a very user friendly
interface and an easy to manipulate keyboard (unlike many
similar products that have tragically difficult keyboards).
With few exceptions, a person who tries a Blackberry ends up
very fond of the Blackberry. Oftentimes a person who has a
Blackberry can be found to remark that he or she cannot imagine
getting by without a Blackberry.

If you are interested in owning a Blackberry, you should spend
some time shopping around in both the brick and mortar world
and on the Internet and World Wide Web. In this day and age,
there is a wide array of different retailers that offer
Blackberry products for sale both in the real world and in
cyberspace. By taking the time to shop around, you may even be
able to find a Blackberry at a discounted price.

On the Net, there are retailers that cater specifically to the
selling of Blackberry products. In addition, any number of
auction and overstock sites may be found to have Blackberry
products in their inventories.

In the brick and mortar world, a Blackberry can be found at any
number of consumer electronic stores -- large and small. By

This Squeeze Page System Dramatically Increases Conversions!

Here's a really nice program for you to take a
look at.
What it does is generate a squeeze
page and a special version of your salespage.
You upload these to your site.

When you visitor hits your squeeze page and enters
his name, email, and any of five other customer
designated fields, the software uses that data
to customize the users experience.

The information entered into the form is used to
subscribe them to your list/autoresponder. THEN
as your visitor is forwarded to the next page, the
info they entered into the form shows up on the
next page. So, you can have the next page automatically
modified to include the visitors name, email, or
custom data. The page is actually "talking directly
to your user", and this DOES increase conversions...
depending upon your market of course.

I'm going to do a Camtasia video showing how I've
implemented this over the next few days. I just
need to find a time when it's quiet enough to
record the darn thing. You know how noisy it can
get when family gets together for Thanksgiving.

Read This If You're Even Remotely Thinking Of Hosting Your Own Internet Marketing Seminars

Thinking Of Hosting Your Own Seminar?

Over the past 7-8 years I've observed a cycle in the
Internet marketing seminar business. Marketers rise
throught the ranks, often get on the seminar circuit,
sometimes host a few seminar of their own, and then
move on to something else. There are a few notable
exceptions to this pattern... Carl Galletti and
Armand Morin have hosted numerous seminars year after
year... for example.

I understand the attraction for many thinking of
hosting your own seminar. If you look at a seminar
selling seats for $997 each, your imagination can
start churning. Just imagine if you put on a seminar
and sold only 50 seats. Potentially not a bad ROI
for a weekend. On top of that, if you record the
event you get a big ticket item that you can sell for
years!

There are a lot of pitfall that most aren't aware
of before putting on that first seminar though. So,
the second teleseminar that I will host next month
will be specifically on what you need to know BEFORE
putting together that first seminar. There are a lot
of factors that you need to consider. A few examples
are:

- Location and easy of access
- Available of facilities
- Season of the years (weather, family activities, etc.)
- Refreshments
- Recording the event
- How to choose speakers
- Conflicting events
- Insurance and Liability issues
- Sequence of speakers
- Processing back of the room orders
- Providing amenities such as wireless internet
access in the room
- Audiovisual requirements
- Incentives to get people to sign up early
- Promotional teleseminars and promotional tools
such as Camtasio videos, viral PDF documents,
events related to the seminar
- Theme or REASON for the seminar
- JV partners or promotional partners
- What you hope to gain from the event

There are dozens of other considerations. I hope to
cover many of these in my teleseminar.

I Need Your Network Marketing Questions For A Teleseminar!

One of two teleseminars I'll be hosting in the
next month will be on using the Internet to build
a network marketing business. That teleseminar will

QUESTION: Do you feel like giving me a reason for rejecting my
article, considering all the other major article sites have
published my article?


ANSWER:

There are a dozen of reasons why I could have chosen not to
publish your article. Without knowing which of your articles I
rejected, it is a hard call to make from memory.

I own and manage more than 150 article distribution groups. I own
and manager seven websites that are either article directories or
websites that print reprint articles. I own and manage one
article distribution service. Soon to be two services.

I see tons of articles.

Any and all article directory managers are free to make their own
choices about what to publish and what not to publish.

On my distribution groups, so long as you follow a few basic
group rules, your articles will be permitted through the systems.

1. 2 posts per day maximum.
2. Not subscribed to the group in NO Mail mode. If you want
other people to read your stuff, you should at least
demonstrate the same courtesy to others.
3. No straight advertising.
4. No press releases.
5. Nothing that reads like a sales pitch.


In my services, the only rules that apply:

1. Nothing that reads like an ad.
2. No press releases.
3. No foul language, or disreputable business practices.


In my directories, I follow the same basic rules above. I also
follow many other internal guides.

* I don't want any of my sites to look just like all other
sites. So I reject some at will, based on an urge or based
on nothing.
* I don't want to be a sheep who does exactly what everyone
else does.

* Bad formatting in article will get it rejected.
* Perceived advertising in body of article could get it
rejected.
* Certain topics are generally always rejected.
* If the website listed in your resource box consists mostly
of information scraped from search engines, and if I catch
it, I will usually reject your article --- no matter how
good your article might be. I know other directory managers
who have the same policy.
* All acceptance and rejection decisions are made in just a
split second.


Chances are that your article has been published in 90% plus
of the reprint article resources I own, primarily the reprint
article distribution lists.

Do you need 100% exposure across my networks? No.

Do you want 100% exposure across my networks? Probably.

If all article directory managers accept all of the same
articles, then your article on their site will be nearly
worthless. If there are five to six sites with exactly the same
content on them, then chances are that the spiders will
eventually figure that out, and then they will stop indexing the
"mirror" sites.

Your article 100% across the board is the worst thing that you
can hope for. On the surface, it may seem good, because you have
that many more links. But, these "mirror" sites with 100% the
same content will come back to bite you in the arse. They will
hurt your SEO rankings in the end, because these sites will be
penalized by the search engines, AND the articles on those sites
may be hurt as well.

I am happy to reject articles "at will" on my free article
directories, because I definitely do not want to be seen as
exactly like another 30 article directories.

Let's face it, few article directory websites are the same. Some
are simply better than others and they are recognized as such by
the general internet community.

The site where you are complaining your article "was not
included" is a new directory with little recognition in the
marketplace. I set it up to test out and play with its article
directory software.

When we get to the end of the day, each article directory or
website that hosts articles is part of a democracy. The webmaster
can accept your articles or reject your articles. It is up to you
to provide an article that the webmaster will want to use on his
or her website. This business about expecting people to use your
articles is totally off-base, and could net you the result of
being forever barred from participation in the offended
webmaster's website.

Tread carefully and wisely.

Six Easy Ways To Get The Most Out Of Internet Marketing Seminars

My online marketing results improved by 2000% when I started
attending live seminars. This was because I shared ideas with,
and learned from, others in my industry. This was because,
we harnessed the tremendous leverage of each others' assets.
Prior to that point, I had been off working mostly by myself.

Live seminars and conferences are probably JUST what your
struggling online business needs. Here are six ways to get
the most out of attending Internet marketing seminars:


1) Find out who's going to be there in advance by asking
around. Arrange to get together with specific individuals
beforehand, so that... in all the excitement you don't forget
to meet specific people. Either have a specific idea in mind
you want to discuss with them, or just explore what projects
the two of you are working on individually, so that you can
see how you might help each other.

2) Bring your digital camera and take lots of pictures. You
can later use these pictures on your blogs, on your websites,
etc. It always help to have pictures showing who you know or
are personal friends with. After the seminar, many of these
people really will be your friends. You'll actually be able
to pick up the phone and give them a call.

Extra tip - After taking digital photos with them, follow up
with a nice greeting card telling them how nice it was to meet
them. Include the photo you took WITH them in the card. I do

3) Bring a portable tape recorder, or better yet, a digital
recorder that records direct to MP3. Interview a few people
while at the seminar... after-hours, on breaks, etc. You've
just created a nice audio product that you can use as a very
unique bonus.

You could also sell these recordings as a stand-alone product.

Be sure to write out an outline, or pre-coordinate the questions
you're going to ask beforehand, to make the recording more
professional sounding.

4) Take lots of business cards, and give one to everyone that
you meet. More importantly, get a card from EVERYONE that you
meet. When you get back home, add them to your contact manager.
Then, follow-up with an email, a call, or a nice card. You're
not looking for immediate deals here per se. Instead, you're
looking at developing long-term business relationships.

5) When chatting with people you meet, there is the tendency to
want to tell them all about YOU and your projects. Instead, let
them do most of the talking! Listen intently to what they say,
and try to think of ways that you can help them. If you see a
way that you can help them, make a note, and then DO IT! This
sets in motion the Law of Reciprocity.

Later, when they think of you, they will remember that you were a
"VERY interesting person." They won't necessarily remember why.
The reason will be because you were interested in them.

6) Make a list of things that you are going to do as soon as you
get back home. Keep this list fairly short so that it's not
overwhelming. Make a second list of things that you will do
within the first month or two after getting back home. Things
can move from one list to the next as the seminar progresses. The
whole key is to have a plan of action and then implement it!

You may want to implement some tips that you pick up while you’re
still at the seminar. If you want to get a jump on the
competition, and implement something before everyone is doing it,
go ahead and start working on it in the middle of the night... in
your hotel room!

These are just Six quick tips on how to get the most out of
attending any Internet marketing seminar. If you do these few
simple things you'll discover that Internet marketing seminars
are one of the smartest investments you can make in growing your
online business, and building solid long-term relationships that
pay HUGE dividends.

The Birth Of Internet Marketing - A Bit Of history

A Weekend Of Networking Among The Warriors - December 2nd - 4th, 2005

The Internet Marketing Riot
December 3rd - 4th, Ardmore, OK.

Members of the Internet Marketing Warrior "member-only"
discussion forum were chatting about who lived close
enough to have a get-together. The discussion was started
by Kimberly Gordon, who asked who lived within 90 miles of

I just finished reading this (twice), know the author
well, and had to share it with you. It's one of the
best tutorials on online marketing I've ever read.

The author is someone you've probably heard of. His
name is Michael Rasmussen, and he is considered by most
top marketers to be one of the world's top authority on
creating something called a "fire sale".

How does earning 80,000 dollars in pure, spendable
profit in only 7 days sound to you?

Me too!

Michael is famous for his massive success with his
"Instant Ebook Author" fire sale, where he sold
thousands of resale-rights licenses for his marketing

Focus - A Big Internet Marketing Success Secret

On a recent "how to" teleseminar, where I was the guest speaker,
I was asked how I manage to do so many different things. You
see, I have hundreds of websites in different niches. From these
websites I sell dozens of my own products, plus affiliate
products. The answer to that question, that the entire panel of
experts agreed upon, was that FOCUS is the key!

Far too many Internet marketers try to do too many projects
at once. They eventually begin to feel overwhelmed, and then
never finish most of them. The feeling of overwhelm actually
makes you less efficient...TIRED, and less motivated.

It's critical that you develop the ability to operate almost as
if you're wearing "blinders" that don't allow you to see off to
the side. You need to not even think about unrelated things
while working on a project. I do this well partly because I was
trained to “compartmentalize” as a military aviator. At times
I had to block everything out of my mind except the task at
hand… perhaps navigating through very hazardous terrain. There
are times when if you’re not successful at the task at hand,
other things that follow won’t matter as much!

Many of us operate in information overload. Everyday we get
emails, FedEx packages, and phone calls about some product that
we just can't miss. You need to learn to say, "Yes - I can miss
it! Until I finish this current project, I simply don't need
to take on another."

You need to also acknowledge that if you miss some new course,
or tool, that's being really hyped-up, there WILL be another one
along tomorrow. As fast as things change in Internet marketing,
that tool that's being hyped-up today is somewhat likely to be
outdated in a few months anyway.

Focus is a habit anyone can develop through practice. You start
a project, and pay little attention to things unrelated to
that project until it's done. Now, you get the reward of having
finished that project. That reward could be another income
stream on autopilot, or it could be just the joy of crossing it
off of your "to do" list. Each time you get one of these rewards,
it reinforces the habit patterns that made the reward possible.
Eventually, you develop the ability to really focus, and really
get more done, without it being a struggle.

Back to your “to do” list. If having a LONG list just makes you
feel more overwhelmed, work from several lists. Have a master
list, and then each day pick one or two “must do items” and
focus on those. It will make your task ahead seem much less
daunting.

Another habit that will aid you in focusing, is learning to
delegate and form partnerships. Since a big part of focusing is
getting projects completed, learn to only do those things that
your are most suited for. It's often cheaper to hire someone
else to do things that you don't know how to do well. Having
partners adds an accountability factor. Knowing that someone is
depending upon you to finish your part of a project will make
you stop procrastinating and get it done!

Just as effective as delegating, and often cheaper, is using
software to do routine or repetitive tasks. For your email
marketing, use autoresponders for example. Use software that
automates some parts of building or updating your websites.

business on full-autopilot, software can allow you to do a

remaining work time to really focus on a task you must get done.
Do this, and you'll not only find yourself able to get a LOT
more done, you'll find yourself with more free time on your
hands. Try not to use that free time to take on too many new
tasks. Get proper rest and recreation too. It will make you
more efficient and make it even easier to focus because your
mind will be clearer.

the final price.

Becoming a trading assistant means that you don't have to
worry about finding products to sell on eBay (this is one
of the toughest tasks of an eBay seller) -- because people
bring products to YOU!

You can even go so far as to open a "drop-off store" where
people can drop off their items for you to sell, then split
the commissions with you.

In fact, Brandon has THREE drop-off stores located across
the US, creating a strong "additional" revenue stream for
his business!

Whether you are looking to start a new business, expand your
existing business, or create additional sales channels on eBay
itself, eBay offers you a wide range of low-risk opportunities

3. How to reduce the risk of selling through auctions
-- and make sure you profit from each sale!

Regardless of how low the risk is to start selling through
eBay's auctions, there is always the chance that your item
might not sell for the price you were hoping for.

Whenever you post an item for auction, you are gambling that
public interest in the item will drive the price up. A common
strategy is to find an in-demand item and list it at a
desirable time, then sit back and let a bidding frenzy ensue!

However, there is the chance that your item may not spark a
bidding war... and it may sell for the low price you listed
it at. This may not be a risk you are willing to take.

That's why Brandon recommends the following strategies you can
use to reduce the risk of selling on eBay to zero...

>> SET A "FIXED PRICE":

Rather than auctioning an item, you can put a fixed price
on your products just like in a brick-and-mortar business.

This method works really well for selling commodities like
household appliances or electronics. Buyers can easily
compare prices online for products like blenders and hard
drives, so there is less chance of a commodity item being
"bid up" in an auction process.

By setting a fixed price, you never have to wonder how much
profit you will make on the sale -- and your buyers can
purchase their items instantly without waiting for a
lengthy auction to run its course!

>> USE "BUY IT NOW" (BIN):

eBay's BIN option is like a combination of a regular
auction and a fixed-price sale. You can list your items
like an auction with an opening bid price, and also tell
buyers what price to pay if they want to purchase the item
immediately.

If a buyer places a bid, then the BIN price is no longer
available and your auction runs its course. If a buyer
chooses to "buy it now," then your auction ends because the
item is no longer available to other bidders. There are two
ways that you can set your BIN price to attract buyers:

- Set a BIN price that's just a small amount higher than
the auction starting bid to entice buyers to buy
immediately and get a great deal.

- Set a BIN that's much higher than the auction starting
price to increase the perceived value of the item to the
buyers -- and set your starting bid at a price you'd be
comfortable selling at.

Either way, you'll sell your item at a price that YOU feel
comfortable with, instead of leaving it up to your bidders.

>> USE "BEST OFFER":

When you use the Fixed Price format to list your items,
you have the option of accepting "Best Offers" from buyers
-- they can choose to purchase the item at your price or
make an offer at a lower price. When you receive an offer
from a buyer, it's up to you to decide if it's fair.

A best-offer format is a good way for you to show buyers
there is some room for negotiation or flexibility on the
price, without jeopardizing the amount of profit you make.

>> USE A "RESERVE PRICE":

Every seller has the option of placing a hidden "Reserve
Price" -- or minimum acceptable winning bid -- on the
items you auction.

This means you can set a low starting bid to attract
interest, but you're not obligated to sell unless the bids
surpass that hidden price. This strategy is useful when you
are selling a unique or high-value item.

For example, if you are auctioning the Tiffany lamp that
your grandparents received as a wedding gift, you don't
want to risk selling it for a low opening bid!

Setting a low starting bid will grab a lot of buyers'
attention and keep your listing fees down. And putting a
reserve price on the auction means that you are guaranteed
the item will sell for a price you are comfortable with.

>> USE "SECOND CHANCE OFFER":

It's uncommon, but the fact is that in rare cases, a buyer
who wins an auction fails to follow through with payment.

However, don't worry! eBay wants to make sure you are
protected in situations like this. So -- with no penalty
or extra fees -- you can offer your second-highest bidder
a chance to buy the item at the price they bid.

You can also use these "Second Chance Offers" when you have
more than one of the same item for sale...

If the second highest bid was acceptable to you, you can
actually make two (or more!) sales in one listing. This is
a great strategy that can result in at least 30% more sales
on your auctions!

There is NO simpler way to launch an online business than with
eBay. Nothing else on the 'Net can beat it for ease of use, low
start-up costs, and access to a ready market of millions of
eager buyers.

And you don't even need to know HTML or anything about web
design, because eBay gives you all the point-and-click
templates you need. Everything you need to get up, running, and
making a profit in the first 48 hours is at your fingertips!

However, it would be misleading to promise you that you can
list a few items for sale on eBay and instantly take home
buckets of money.

The fact is, a full 54 percent of auctions on eBay receive
no bids at all! That's why you need to make sure you are using
the right strategies to attract maximum bidders and grow your
profits on eBay.

Many eBay sellers spend years figuring these strategies out...
or they remain among the thousands of sellers who never get
past the "hobby seller" stage...

.. But now you can SKIP the frustrating trial-and-error
process by following in the footsteps of an eBay millionaire

Free Unblockable Popup Generating Software

Undoubtedly you've visted websites that display popups
that look like Post-it notes. These popups are often
unblockable by popup blockers. They are often created
by some fairly expensive software. Some are even sold
on a subscription basis where you have to pay a monthly
fee and they're served from a website.
