My Bargain Basement

Over the years, people have asked me if there was one central location where they could find all of my products, or the products that I recommend. The answer has always been no.

I am now working on a site that will do just this at:
WillieRecommends.com

I've just started working on the site, and havne't even changed from the default WordPress layout/header yet.

In the interim, I thought it would be a good way to start off the new year... by offering discounts on a few of my products, for various reasons. I'll get those specials posted as soon as practical. So, bookmark the site and check back often. I'll save you over 60% on some of the things that I'll list here.

Go check it out now at:

How To Generate Massive Free Website Traffic

How To Generate Massive Free Website Traffic
Copyright © 2005 by Willie Crawford

I've been marketing online for almost 10 years, and generate
the majority of website traffic to most of my sites for free.
Today, I'll share with you how to create and maintain an
endless stream of highly-targeted website visitors for free.

The secret to generating all of the free website traffic that
you can handle is - understanding why your visitors are online
in the first place.

Many of your visitors are NOT online looking for items to
purchase... they are looking for information. Even people who
are planning on making a purchase soon, often research the
item online - but PLAN on buying it locally.

People go online looking for information. They go online
looking for answers to their questions, or solutions to
their problems. They go online looking for an easy way to find
the information that they need. If you provide this
information, and give your visitors a pleasant experience,
then they will often purchase related items from your site.

Understanding what your visitors are looking for should also
convince you that "content is king." Fill your website with
quality, accurate, current content, and it will attract lots of
visitors.

While articles are the “content” that most often comes
to mind, if you want to totally dominate your niche, you
need to employ content in multiple formats.

Articles are a great place to start. Write, or have written,
500 - 1500 word articles that focus on a very specific topic,
and they will be natural search engine magnets. In addition
to your own unique articles, use content written by others
to round out your site.

There is a science to using articles which many beginning
Internet marketers seem to struggle with. The key to
making articles work for you, is making them so valuable
that other websites and publishers actually search for more
of your material. They read one or two of your articles,
and gain so much value, that they want to offer their readers
and visitors MORE of your content.

At the same time, people who read your quality, helpful
articles will follow links to your sites looking for more of
the same.

Once you have a few articles, you also have all the material
you need to create viral traffic magnets in other formats.
My two favorite formats are PDF special reports and short
Camtasia videos.

You can take the same topic/material that you've developed
an expertise on, and written articles on, and turn it into a
"special report." To turn an article into a PDF special
report, you just expand upon what is covered in the article.
Then you use software to convert the text file to PDF. There
are numerous pieces of software that allows you to do this.

One free tool for converting Microsoft Word ® documents to
PDF is called PDF995. You can find it offered from numerous
websites just by doing a search on it at any search engine.

Microsoft Word treats PDF995 as another printer. So you just
tell MS Word to print your document, and you choose PDF995 as
your printer. In a few seconds, you have a PDF document ready
to distribute.

People place a higher value on PDF documents than they do on
articles. Perhaps it's because the PDF documents appear to
take more work to create. I just showed you that it really
doesn't take more work though. Still, PDF documents have a
longer "shelf life" and get passed around a LOT!

When setting up your PDF special reports, include links back
to your sites. Make these live hyperlinks. Then give people
a reason, or an incentive, to pass your PDF document on. If
it contains lots of useful information, or is brandable and
pays an affiliate commission, the PDF will soon "go viral"
(spreading without any additional effort on your part).

A step up from the PDF, is using Camtasia videos as viral
traffic generators. Take the same material that you used to
create the articles and the PDFs, add some pictures and
sound to it, and you have a video.

Camtasia is a piece of screen capture software that records
whatever you have on your computer screen. You'll find it at:
http://techsmith.com/

Using Camtasia, you can demonstrate using a piece of
software, or show some slides that you've created. AS you step
through your presentation on your computer screen you record
the whole thing. At the same time that you’re recording the
video portion, you can add narration, simply using your
microphone plugged right into your computer's microphone jack.

The really powerful feature of Camtasia is that it allows you
to specify what webpage, or where, the viewer will be taken
at the end of the video. You can take them back to the
beginning of the video to watch it all over again if you're
teaching something challenging. You can also have it take
them right to an online webpage or order form for a product
that you're recommending. This is a way of driving traffic
to a target site without requiring any action on the part of
your viewer.

If you'd like to know more about how to use articles or
multi-media content to generate website traffic, I recommend
going through the tutorials at Content Propulsion Lab. You are
taught how to generate and use content in all of the formats
covered above. You're also taught the secret to making your
multi-media content "search engine friendly." You'll find
Content Propulsion Lab at: http://CashThroughContent.com

A final way to generate an incredible amount of website
traffic is to create a website that, just by its very nature,
creates "buzz." Cute, creative, inspirational, or
information-packed sites can develop a following just
because they are that “good!”

An example of a site that's fast-developing into such a “buzz”
site that you can model is at: http://TheBestCatHouseEver.com
The url for the site is a play on words, and is one of the
factors that is causing the site to take off. Another factor
is the fact that the site focuses on cute, cuddly cats...
man's second favorite pet. People will flock to this site
just because of the cute cat photos, and then they'll tell
their friends about the site.

Create a site like http://TheBestCatHouseEver.com - tell the
world about it through articles and press releases - and
before you know it, you'll have a flood of free traffic. If
you choose to, you can then redirect some of this traffic to
your other sites.

You can also set up the viral site so that it's your main
profit center. For example, http://TheBestCatHouseEver.com
can earn money from Google AdSense, sponsor links, affiliate
products, and a store selling novelty items related to the
theme of the site.

I've just shown you ways to generate a FLOOD of highly-
targeted, responsive, free traffic to your websites. The
methods seem fairly simply, but they are proven. I use them
everyday. Incorporate them into your marketing mix and
you'll soon find your website traffic rapidly increasing. Get
started today.

So What Did You Get For Christmas?

This post isn't related to Internet marketing
but I'll find a way to tie it in ;-)

As I relaxed a little this Christmas day, I
reflected upon the difference between
Christmas(es) past and today.

YES, even though I'm at the computer, I am
relaxing. I can only handle so much television
and then I start breaking out :-)

One of the hardest things I actually have
to do during the season is shopping. That's
mainly because people today buy whatever they
want/need when they first think about it.

Easy credit makes it so that you no longer
have to plan up for major purchases.

I guess 100 years ago, when you needed
something, you saved up for it, and it was
easy enough for family members to see what
you really needed, so they could get you
that ideal present. You could get something
that showed you really knew them and their
needs.

Now, my daughters and wife buy whatever
they want, whenever they want it... within
reason. Try as I may, I cannot hammer the
idea of delayed gratification into my
youngest daughter's head. I'm sure she's like
most modern American consumers. "If you
were suppose to wait until you could afford
something, then it wouldn't be availabe on
a 'no money down' plan."

I solved the problem of shopping for my
daughters by giving them mostly cash. That way
they aren't stuck with some trinket that they
will never use.

Last year, I gave my youngest one a stack of
$2 bills, mixed in with $1 bills. That was to make
it harder for her to count. I simply dropped by
my local bank and asked for some $2 bills. They
had hundreds in stock, so I grabbed a "bunch."
Watching her reaction to that present was worth
the trouble.

So, what did I get for Christmas? Well... during
the few months leading up to Christmas, I got:

1) A car, from my youngest daughter. It wasn't new.
When she gradudated from college, she wanted a new
car, so she gave me BACK the car I gave her 2 years
ago. The car is practically new and in excellent
condition... so that's what I drive.

2) An Ediorol R1 Portable MP3 Recorder. I use this
to make MP3's when I'm interviewing people at
seminars,etc. It's a great way to generate a
product or two while traveling to seminars. It would
be a shame to NOT take advantage of the opportunity
when you have so many "personalities" gathered in
one place!

3) Mike Stewart's and Jim Edward's Course on doing
website audio and video

4) A new BlackBerry. That was actually free
after mail-in rebates.
It's BlueTooth enabled and
just what I needed for surfing the web, checking
email, and consulting with clients... all while
out walking on the beach (or doing whatever I
feel like doing).

5) Two new suits. I speak a lot at seminars and
wanted some more fairly nice looking suits (which
also means EXPENSIVE). I only recenty discovered
that those suits are actually worth it. They feel
so much better and... I think... look better.

6) I started laying the groundwork for a new
house that we'll build in 2006. This house will
have a bigger home office for me, a sound-proof
recording studio, more storage (to include walk-in
closest for my wife AND myself), and all of the
other little nicities that make life more
comfortable.

The house will be simple... nothing like the $1.8
million house that my neighbor 4 doors down just
finished building. His detached garage is as large
as my current house.

These are just the things that have come my way in
the last 2 months or so. Lots of other goodies
have come my way during the course of the year.

So, what's my point?

It's not to make those who didn't get as many
presents, or comparable presents, jealous. In-fact,
I didn't even tell you what I got "for Christmas."

My point... and now I'm tying it into Internet
marketing, is that "The Internet Lifestyle" makes
it so that all year long is Christmas.
Owning
and operating your own homebased or online business
really does afford you the lifestyle that most
people only dream of.

Now, I know that many people are wondering,"So
How Do I Get To Live This Lifestyle?"

I got there by reading everything marketing
related that I could get my hands on. My house
is overflowing with CDs, audiotapes, videotapes,
course, DVDs, and huge courses in binders. I
spend a lot of time mastering my craft!

I also spend a lot of time traveling to semianrs
... where I take many times the notes that the
average attendee does. I also implement many ideas
that I pick up at these event... the very same day!

I study not only Internet marketers, but material
from Jay Abraham, Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, Gary
Halbert, Robert Cialdini, Ron LaGrand, Robert
Allen, and a dozen others. I completely immerse
myself in the material.

On top of that, I actually put the things that
I learn into action. If you haven't reached the
level that you aspire to, that's most-likely what
you're NOT doing. That's the one habit I developed
that really started turning my life around.

Ok, I need to get off my soap box, and off the
computer. We're going to visit a number of friends
today. There are several Christmas parties that
we're invited to. So, I'll spend much of the next
several days eating a lot more than I should,
sitting around making small talk, and enjoying
the company of good friends. That may be my favorite
Christmas present... just spending time with friends.

I'll try to take a few pictures to share with you.

Give the challenge that I indiretly issued to you
some thought... and we can talk about it in the New
Year.

Millionaire Blueprints - A Magazine Well Worth Checking Out

Being an online type, I read very few offline publications.

One magazine I've read every issue of since the very first issue ever published, is Millionaire Blueprints. Each issue features stories on a number of self-made millionaire entreperneurs. The stories are very inspiring and eye-opening.

What is most inspiring is how the people featured are really just ordinary, every-day people, who just decided to do something. Then they made it happen.

How To Make Money Online OUTSIDE Of "Internet Marketing"

Here's an ebook that is perhaps my altime favorite when it come to teaching you about selling goods and services online.

In this book, John Evans features interviews with people earning from $100,000 to $18 million per year selling items as diverse as furniture, magic tricks, membership sites, and even SOCKS. It's very
insightful. I have this book on my list of books that I reread every six months. I always get lots of great insights from it.

The interviewees in this book basically opened their business up to you sharing:
- What they sell
- How they sell it
- How the built and maintain their sites
- How they generate traffic
- How they deal with suppliers
- How they handle any employees
... all the stuff you'd want to know so that you could set up similar businesses.

I've actually met a couple of the people featured in the book which makes it even more special.

Willie Crawford & The Cat House?

One of my "pet" projects is a website that I
know will go viral and do very well. The website
will be at: http://TheBestCatHouseEver.com

Part of what will make it go viral is the play
on words that the domain name affords. For the
"uninitiated" "cathouse" is also slang for
brothel. However, I'm using the term to mean
a house for man's second favorite pet (the cat).

Cat lovers may argue the point, but "dogs" are
the most popular pet :-)

Anyway, my concept for the site is a simple site
that features pictures of cats and their houses.
Cat lovers will frequent the site just to browse
the pictures and other things I'll eventually have
on the site.

As word of the site spreads thru viral techniques
that I've already set into motion, the site will
get an incredible amount of traffic.

I won't share everything about the site, but will
say that part of my revenue stream will be from
selling links from the site. Permanent links will
cost only $25 each. If you've checked out the
cost of links from text link brokers, you know
that this is a bargain provided I can push the
site to a PR4 or higher, which has never been a
challenge for me.

Other revenue will be generate from pet related
products, through affiliate programs, and maybe
AdSense AND sales of items like t-shirts, caps,
mousepads, coffee mugs, posters,etc. These
imprinted items will have catchy saying like:

"Yes, I Admit Being A Frequent Visitor To
The Best Cat House Ever.com"

"My Wife And I BOTH Hang Out At The Best
Cat House Ever.com"

"Happiness Is A Visit To The Best Cat House
Ever.com"

"I'm Smiling Because I Just Visited The Best
Cat House Ever.com"

etc.

You get the idea.

After the site is really rolling, I'll probably
share some of the unconventional promotional
techniques that I bring to bear to drive traffic
to this site "through the roof."

I do need a favor from you though, and it could
send you a lot of traffic.
If you have a photo
of your pet cat, in or near a cathouse, I'd love
to feature it on the site. The photo would be
near the top of its own page, and I'd provide
a permanent link back to your site in the
caption for the photo.

Who knows, this may even make your pet famous
and land it a role in a cat food commercial :-)

Stephen Pierce And The Gift Of Giving

I first met Stephen Pierce back in April 2003, when I hosted
my first seminar. My seminar was the first Internet marketing
event he had spoken at incidentally

I took an instant liking to Stephen and Alicia because they
were very giving people. Much of what they do to help countless
others is behind the scene.

I just checked out Stephen's blog at:
http://www.stephenlive.com/blog/

I was pleasantly surprised to see that he had made contributions
to charites in others' names... including my own.

If you watch a lot of the top marketers and a lot of very
successful business people, you will see that many of them
give a lot. Some do most of their giving anonomyously, as
I do, but others make some of their giving public because
of the lessons it teaches.

Anyway, just want to point out that blog post to you.

Generating Self-Sustaining Website Traffic

Generating Self-Sustaining Website Traffic
Copyright 2005 by Willie Crawford

Upon returning from a recent seminar, I had two messages
from newspaper reporters on my answering machine. They
were both seeking interviews. I also had emails showing
that I'd earned several thousand dollars while I was
out of town speaking. The orders had all been processed
automatically, and the emails were just for my information.
It was at that point that I realized my Internet business
had truly reached critical mass.

Critical mass is a term that I first heard my friend Jack
Humphrey, author of Power Linking, use in reference to
generating website traffic and growing a business. Jack
used it to define that point at which you could stop actively
promoting your online business (for a while) and it would
continue to grow and prosper.

I'm sharing this with you because I want you to see the
tools that enabled me to reach that point. This article
will show you to see why those tools are so powerful.

Let me begin by telling you that it took me eight years to
grow my online business to the point where it is largely
self-sustaining! I don't want to mislead you there. A
big part of success is unwavering persistence.

Now, let's look at the tools I used to reach and maintain
critical mass.

1) Search engine marketing. All of my important sites
ARE manually submitted to the search engines. I submit
and re-submit them "semi-automatically" though. I use a
site called SelfPromotion.com. This site allows you to
store all relevant data about a site into their database.
The software then submits your site to selected search
engines and directories.

The beauty of self-promotion.com is that you can then set
it so that the software periodically resubmits your sites.
It’s truly "set it and forget it" website promotion.

SelfPromotion.com is free, but if you make a contribution,
to help pay for the upkeep of the site, you get access to
more nifty tools. You can get a free account with them at:
http://selfpromotion.com/?CF=Willie%20Crawford
That URL lets Robert know that I sent you. I've used this
tool for over 5 years now - and love it!

2) Article marketing. I've written and distributed over
300 articles. Articles establish you as an expert in the
marketplace, build inbound links to your sites, pre-sell
your products, and help you rank higher in the search
engines for your targeted keywords.

The power of article marketing is that once the articles
are in circulation, and on hundreds... or even thousands
of websites, they can work for you forever. I still get
traffic to some of my websites from articles I wrote in
1998!

Many online marketers now use articles to market their
websites, but they don't do it very effectively. Articles
have to be written, and deployed, in a way that they both
gain you advantages in the search engines and that they
convert readers into customers, subscribers, clients,
and fans. That means your articles need SOLID content.

In writing articles (or having them ghost written) you
must always remember that people surf the Internet looking
for information and solutions to their problems. Your
articles must actually provide this information or help
them to actually solve their problems. Distribute articles
that accomplish this, and you'll develop an endless
stream of raving fans, all storming your website for more
of YOU.

Writing articles is relatively easy. If you don't know
how to write articles though, I recommend that you take
advantage of the training available at a site called
Content Propulsion Lab. Content Propulsion Lab teaches
you not only how to use articles to grow your business,
but also how to use multi-media content (such as MP3's
and online video). You're shown how to deploy
multi-media content in a way that causes the search
engines to gobble it up.

I mentioned the multi-media content because, while
articles work beautifully, website audio and video is
growing at an amazing pace. You need to offer your
audience information in the formats that they prefer
consuming it in. More and more, this format is becoming
audio and video. These formats allow your audience to
connect with you on a much deeper level since they see
or hear a live person. Connecting with your audience on
a deeper level means MORE sales.

I now use Content Propulsion Lab's resources to push my
content out to an amazing array of places. I also TEACH
others how to do this through tele-classes and webinars
featured at Content Propulsion Lab. You can check out
all of the mind-boggling capabilities Content Propulsion
Lab offers at: http://CashThroughContent.com

3) Viral tools. A viral tool is merely something
that, once set in motion, continues to grow, and
spread, and benefit you, without any additional input
being required from you.

Two of my favorite viral tools are online discussion
forums and blogs. Online discussion forums allow
people interested in a given topic to congregate and
and discuss that topic. Over time, your discussion forum
will develop a core following who will help to spread
the word, and help to maintain the community. Seek
volunteer moderators to help police the forum and
maintain standards. Many people will volunteer for a
link back to their site, or just for the exposure.

The number of blogs is growing exponentially. Blogs
are proven traffic magnets. A blog allows you to share
information, opinions, etc. with your audience. If
your blog engages your audience they will help to
spread the word. At the same time, blogs are visited
frequently by the search engines. Search engines
notice which ones are updated often and become
"trained" to spider those blogs often.

Because blogs are spidered so often, it's one of
the quickest ways that I know of to get a new site
noticed by the search engines. Just post a link to
one of your new sites on a blog that's frequently
crawled, and the search engine spiders will follow
that link and index your new site. This is VERY
powerful to be such a simple technique.

Blogging is very simple, but there are lots of tricks
and techniques that offer you an amazingly competitive
advantage. My favorite blogging platform is WordPress,
which I learned all about from my friend Sherman
Hu. Sherman has a series of short online videos that
explain practically everything you could ever want
to know about blogging with WordPress.

You can watch 22 (yes - 22) of Sherman's videos on
WordPress blogging absolutely free at:
http://ShermanHuOnWordPressBlogging.com

Other viral tools include ebooks, PDF special reports,
MP3 audio files, and Camtasia videos. We can't cover
all of these here, but any of them could be created,
and then offered to the marketplace. If they deliver
tremendous value, or even entertainment, they will
be passed along. If you create these viral tools
properly, they will lead highly qualified traffic right
back to your site.

4) Link Building. People find, and then visit, your
sites by following trails. Those trails can be mentions
of your url in online or offline media, articles,
press releases, and links on other sites pointing to
you. The more links you have pointing to you, the
greater the chance of someone finding one of those
links and visiting your site. So, you should set out
on an aggressive effort to build quality links
pointing to your site.

Since I value quality links over sheer quantity,
I have over the years simply emailed webmasters of
sites I wanted to exchange links with suggesting
the exchange. Now, I hire others to coordinate link
exchanges for me. This is a better use of my resources
in the long-run than doing it myself, since there
are services that do this fairly inexpensively. To
locate one of these services, simply type in an
appropriate term at the search engines.

You can also set up an affiliate program as a way to
reward others for linking to you. Affiliate program
management software, such as the one I use at
http://ProfitAutomation.com allows you the option of
paying people (on a per click basis) just for sending
traffic to you. I do this on a few sites, but on
most sites where I have affiliate programs, I pay on a
per sale basis. This still generates a lot of one-way
links but only costs you when those links make you
sales.

There are many, many more techniques that you can
use to build a steadily increasing flood of traffic
to your sites. I use literally DOZENS of different
methods. If you're looking for an "encyclopedia" of
traffic generation methods, I highly recommend a course
by my friend John Reese, called Traffic Secrets. You'll
find John Reese's Traffic Secrets Course at:
http://TrafficSecretsByJohnReese.com

The most important part of building your websites'
traffic up to critical mass is just getting started.
Pick ONE of the methods outlined above and get started.
As you verify that a particular method works great
for you, and your marketplace, keep using that one and
then add others. If a particular method doesn't produce
for you, stop wasting your time with it!

One final thought... even when you build your website
traffic to critical mass, you still should continue to promote.

Yes, you'll continue making sales, but if you completely
stop promoting, sales will eventually begin to drop off.
Major international corporations such as Coke(tm) have
proven this over and over again. That's why you see these
major corporations with MAJOR market domination
continue to promote their products and services.

Now that your understand the intricacies of generating
self-sustaining website traffic, what are you waiting
for :-)

Underground Secrets Transcripts

I did a teleseminar with Yanik Silver a few
days ago. In that teleseminar I grilled him
on some of the Underground Secrets that he
knew.

These are Internet marketing tips and tricks
he picked up by hanging out with those who earn
six, seven and even eight-figure incomes
online OUTSIDE of the Internet Marketing Arena.

The interview is very eye-opening. You can grab
the free PDF transcript from that interview here:
http://TheRealSecrets.com/UndergroundSecrets.pdf

Enjoy it.

I'm going to be at Yanik's next Underground
Seminar in March. I'd love to meet you there.

Holiday Scams

Here's a nice article by Bob Osgoodby....

Holiday Scams

I got a phone call the other day from a Sergeant Harris who said he was calling from the Police Department. He said he was soliciting funds for the PBA (Police Benevolent Association) to buy gifts for needy children. Now most of us know that the PBA is a reputable organization, and provides great support for our Law Enforcement Employees.

Something just didn't ring true however, so I told him I couldn't talk as I was busy, but to call back later. I then called our local Police Department and asked if this was on the up and up. I found out that there is no Sergeant Harris in our Police Department, and there was no fund raising activity taking place at that time. He never called back.

This is just one of the many scams being perpetrated and I thought it might be appropriate to review some of the others we face every day on the Internet. Con artists have gone high-tech and are using the Internet to defraud consumers in a variety of clever ways.

Internet Auctions allow you to shop in a "virtual marketplace" that offers a huge selection of products at great deals. It has been reported by some, that after sending their money, they've received an item that is less valuable than promised or, worse yet, nothing at all. When bidding through an Internet auction, particularly for a valuable item, check out the seller and insist on paying with a credit card or using an escrow service - never send cash or a personal check.

Internet Access Services and Long Distance Service Providers may send you a check, and this is prevalent during Holiday Season when folks could use a few extra dollars. But be careful, you might be "trapped" into a long-term contract for Internet access or phone service, with big penalties for cancellation or early termination. If a check arrives at your home or business, read both sides carefully and look inside the envelope to find the conditions you're agreeing to if you cash the check.

Web Crammers promise a free custom-designed website for a 30-day trial period, with no obligation to continue, and Internet Service Providers might promise free Internet Access for a trial period. Beware that you may be charged for the service after the trial period, even if you asked to be removed from their program. You should review your telephone and credit card bills to be sure you are not being charged.

M-L-M Scams and Pyramids have been around a long time. They promise that you can make money through the products and services you sell, as well as those sold by the people you recruit into the program. Many have found that after they've bought into a plan or programs, that in reality, their customers are other distributors, and not the general public. Some programs are actually illegal pyramid schemes. When products or services are sold only to distributors like yourself, there's no way to make money. You should avoid plans that require you to recruit distributors, buy expensive inventory or commit to a minimum sales volume.

Travel and Vacation plans offer a luxurious trip with lots of "extras" at a bargain-basement price. Some companies however, deliver lower-quality accommodations and services than they've advertised or no trip at all. Others have been hit with hidden charges or additional requirements after they've paid. You should always get references on any travel company you're planning to do business with. Then, get details of the trip in writing, including the cancellation policy, before signing on. Many of these cruise ships are of foreign registry, and you may not have legal recourse if they don't deliver.

Business Opportunities - Be your own boss and earn big bucks. Most of these make extravagant offers, and if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. The same applies to investing in a day trading system or service that promises huge earnings. Big profits always mean big risk. Programs that claim to be able to predict the market with 100 percent accuracy should simply be avoided.

Be wary of extravagant claims about performance or earnings potential. Get all promises in writing and review them carefully before making a payment or signing a contract.

Read the fine print and all relevant links. Fraudulent promoters sometimes bury the disclosures they're not anxious to share, by putting them in tiny type or in a place where you're unlikely see them. Look for a privacy policy. If you don't see one - or if you can't understand it - consider taking your business elsewhere. Be skeptical of any company that doesn't clearly state its name, street address and telephone number.

Can you avoid getting caught by a scam artist working the web? Not always. But prudence and due diligence usually pays.

How To Host Your Websites For Only $2.04 Per Month

How To Host Your Websites For Only $2.04 Per Month
Copyright 2005 By Willie Crawford

Having been in business online since late-1996, I've
used a number of different web hosting companies -
as you might well imagine. I currently use three hosts.
I still use three hosts because I don't believe in putting
all of your eggs in one basket.

No matter how good a web hosting company is, things
like a natural disasters could take their servers
(and your sites) offline. If you have sites hosted
on different servers, in different geographic
locations, you diversify that risk.

Having your sites on different servers in different
locations also allows you to put related sites on
different IP addresses for search engine optimization
purposes. We won't get into that topic in this
article though.

Today, I want to share with you how I host 150 of my
sites for only $2.04 each, TOTAL cost per month.
I'll reveal to you how you could easily do the same.
I'm talk "quality, full-featured, cash-gushing, sites!"

I'm a "charter member" of a member-only website called
Content Desk. This membership site teaches you how to
set up and profit from creating content sites. The
membership provides you with tools and instructions
on how to quickly and easily erect these content sites.

Charter membership in this site is limited to 400
members, so it may be sold out when you check. If it is,
just get on the waiting list. From time to time,
members don't renew, and that's when you could get in.
Members don't renew because circumstances in all of our
lives change from time to time.

I've looked high and low, and haven't seen anything
that compares to Content Desk. That's why it's an
integral part of my online business model.

If you want more information on Content Desk, and are
in a hurry, you can read all about it at:
http://MassiveCashFromArticles.com
Click on the link labeled "Charter Membership" in the
left menu bar.

Content Desk allows you to tap into a database
of over 146,000 articles covering countless topics. You
can search this database and select articles by keywords,
authors, keyword density, etc. You can take the selected
articles and have proprietary software output those
articles into unique templates that you've designed.

Note: Content Desk actually has many other facets but
I'll just focus on building content sites here.

The magic of Content Desk is that they step you through
the process of creating quality sites that the search engines
will love, your visitors will love, that won't
get you banned, and that you'll generate a lot of cash
from. You are taught how to do this through online
tutorials and live tele-events.

Members learn from John Reese, Jonathan Page, Brad Fallon,
Michael Fortin, Carl Galletti, Keith Baxter, Ryan Deiss,
Frank Garon, Willie Crawford, Jack Humphrey, and many other
virtual empire builders. These members all teach
at free teleseminars and webinars only available to
members.

The point I'm trying to make here is that members aren't
left on their own. In fact, Content Desk has a very
active member-only forum that's frequented by many
"FedEx Club" members. That's a term used to describe
people earning over $10,000 per month in Google AdSense
revenue. Google used to send those large check only by
FedEx. Google now offers the option of direct deposit...
which is what I use :-)

I don't want this to turn into a pitch for Content Desk,
but that's how I've set up an amazing number of very
profitable content sites that I now operate virtually
hands-free. In-fact, the software even automatically
adds new articles to my sites based upon criteria that
I've specified.

When new articles are added to the database, you don't
even have to go in and find them. The software sees the
articles, sees that they match your criteria, and
automatically adds them to your websites, fitting them
neatly within your templates. Your sites literally grow
themselves.

I also automatically post new entries to my blogs. These
entries originate from new articles that have been added
to the database, or from pre-selected articles that I've
cued up. I give my blog visitors new posts, containing
EXACTLY the information that they are looking for, while
I'm out fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. You can easily do
the same thing.

I'm sure that by now you can see the power of how I
set-up and run many of my "money sites." My focus is on
creating quality sites that the search engines will love,
that will not get your sites banned, that your visitors
benefit from, and that will make you tons of revenue.

Charter members are GIVEN 1500 meg of disk space as a
part their membership which costs $197 per month. You
also get 180gig of monthly bandwidth. That 180,000 meg of
monthly bandwidth. Please note that this space is only
for hosting your OWN sites. It can't be resold or given
away!

I mentioned earlier that, for search engine optimization
purposes, it's sometimes important to spread related
domains across different IP blocks. The free hosting
that charter members of Content Desk receive is spread
across a number of IP blocks.

If you set up simple content sites, without a lot of huge
files, you can easily keep them to only 2-3 meg per month.
If you include interactive tools, such as a blog, you want
to leave room for several years of growth. That's why I
allocate 10 meg of disk space for many of my sites.

Divide your 1500 meg of free hosting by 10 meg per site,
and you end up with 150 sites that you can host. You
actually decide how you want to split up the disk space
that you are allocated. I use 10 meg because that's sufficient
for most sites.

Back to the math... 150 sites for your $197 per month
membership equates to $1.31 per site (rounded off). Add
$8.75 per year (73 cents per month) for a domain name,
and your total monthly cost per site is $2.04. With web
hosting this cheap, you actually don't need to make a
lot of sales to be profitable. I have to make lots of sales...
to reach my 7-figure income goals :-)

In case you're wondering where to host domains for only
$8.75 per year, check out the discount domain registration
service at: http://875PerYearDomains.com

As an aside, I set this up for private clients because I
was disgusted with seeing how large domain name
registration services were ripping people off. You are
encouraged to use it to register, or renew, all of your
domain names. You're getting VERY close to the
wholesale rate. Companys that charge you less make up the
loss somehow on the backend ;-)

If you were just setting up content sites, or mini-sites, it
would be very easy to actually keep all of your sites below
say 5 meg each. So that same disk

space could theoretically host 300 sites. If you divided the
$197 per month cost by 300 sites, you're paying only 66 cents
per month, per account for hosting, plus 73 cents per month
for domain name registration. That brings your cost per
domain hosted down to only $1.39 EACH.

Many Internet marketers own the reprint rights to literally
hundreds of different products that they never actually do
anything with. Using the system I'm laying out
for you, you would:

1) create a mini-site that has the salespage for the product
as your index page.

2) Use the tools in Content Desk to create dozens of related,
tightly-niches article pages.

3) Link off the index page to an article index page, where
you link to related articles hosted on your site.

4) Have links on all of the article page pointing back to
your index page (your salespage).

5) Add Google AdSense or some other revenue generator to your
article pages if desired.

6) Submit your site to the search engines directly, or by
linking to them from sites that are already indexed,
and that are frequenlty crawled.

7) Write, or have written, articles that pertain to your
niche. Include a link back to your mini-site in the resource
box. Use Content Propulsion Lab to submit these
articles to an incredibly immense NETWORK of article
directories. You'll find Content Propulsion Lab at:
http://CashThroughContent.com

Note: Charter members of Content Desk get free membership
in Content Propulsion Lab.

8) Use Content Desk's tools to periodically, automatically
add new pages to your mini-site to keep it
fresh, and to train the search engine spiders to re-crawl
your sites often.

9) Watch the sales of these products that you have
resale rights to trickle in totally hands-free.

It's not unrealistic to plan a mini-site that only uses
5 meg of disk space. Many of my 1-page sites that are
straight sales letters, use less than 1 meg for the
salespage, "thank you page," and digital products that
are stored on the site. If you had a site containing audio
files, zip files, etc., then you would expect to use
more disk space for that site.

To conserve disk space, you could store your larger files,
off your mini-sites. Server space and bandwidth is dirt
cheap, so you can easily find places that would allow you
to store all of your larger files in one place for only
a few bucks a month. Many of the free hosting companies
will give you enough disk space to do this. You don't want
to use the free hosting companies to host your main site
because it generally looks very unprofessional, and it
will impact sales.

With content propulsion lab you can store your large
audio files on their server and stream from there, saving
you a lot of space as well.

With 1500 meg of free disk space and free web hosting,
having enough disk space really should NOT be an
issue anyway.

One of the first excuses beginners offer for not getting
their web businesses off the ground is that they can't
afford it. They contend that they don't even have the
money for web hosting. I've just showed you that you can
host your websites for next to nothing, when you follow
my example.

It's not totally free, but running a web business DOES
take money. Starting and operating a web business takes
a lot less capital than a comparable offline business
would though.

I've just revealed to YOU how to run your business for a
small fraction of what your competitors are spending.
This offers you a substantial competitive advantage.

I've also just revealed to you an integral part of my
business operating system. I can safely reveal this
because, even if you are my DIRECT competitor, I know
that most people will do absolutely nothing with this
amazing knowledge. If you're not my direct competitor,
I hope that you do use this information. It has changed
lives!

Free MP3 Download and Yanik's Earlybird Almost Sold Out

If you missed the teleseminar that I did with Yanik
Silver, hopefully you've had a chance to listen to
the MP3 recording by now. If not, you can download
the MP3 - for free- and then listen at your leisure
- by registering here:
http://williecrawford.com/yanik-teleseminar.htm

We're still having the call transcribed, and that
will be available to you in PDF format soon.

On the call, Yanik mentioned his Undergound Seminar
II, which will be in March, 2006. Last year, all of
the seats were gone almost 2 months before the event.

This year is shaping up to be a sell-out even earlier,
which is another reason I'm emailing you. At last
check, there were only around 1 dozen "early-bird"
seats remaining.

So that you don't miss out on what is sure to be THE
event of 2006, I urge you to check it out now at:
http://www.undergroundonlineseminar.com/investigator/

I've actually met and/or learned from about half of
the people at Yanik's last seminar. In fact, if you
sift through this blog, you'll see posts about many of
the speakers including Rosalind Gardner, Jeff Walker,
and Morgan Westerman. I'm even in the photos with many
of these people.

Morgan's website is one of those inspirational sites that people jsut love to pass around the url for. As a result the site gets millions of visitors and generates millions of dollars.

Check out the webite by clicking here!

The websites a brilliant example of both viral marketing and using public domain works. You see... the site is centered around a pubic domain poem that Morgan changed slightly, added some beautiful photos to, and supplemented with moving music.

To Create A Great Product, Just Ask!

Prior to going to Michael Penland's Internet and Joint Venture Super Conference, this past weekend, I suggested to Michael Worthington (one of my coaching clients) that maybe we could get together afterhours at the seminar and create some type of audio product.

I told Micheal that I would bring along my Edirol R1 portable MP3 recorder and perhaps we could record an interview.

Michael emailed his list asking for questions, and then early during the seminar told me and Michael that he'd like to record something at the end of the seminar. After the formal seminar was finished up, Michael rounded a few of us up in his room for an hour or so of candid Q&A.

Here's a photo from that session.

FILE0026.JPG

Some of the speakers who found themselves being grilled in Micheal's room probably wondered what happened! Michael discoverd that to generate a fantastic and unique product when you have a lot of people gathered like this often requires only that you ask!

The next event that I will be at will also be in Orlando, in February. Maybe we could do something like this for you. The focus of this next event is to teach you how to land lucrative JVs, and to actually groom you. We move the stumbling blocks out of your way. Michael just proved how easy it can be. Now it's your turn.

Sign up here, and then email me to see what we can set up ;-)
I can't make any promises since I don't control the other speakers
schedule, but I know that they are all fairly accessible and easy to work with.

Recordings From Dan Kennedy's 2005 Platinum INNER CIRCLE Mastermind Meeting!

My very favorite bonus has to be the one I got with
the recordings from Yanik Silver's Underground Workshop.
Actually he included several incredible bonuses. Talk
about over delivering!

One of those bonuses was a set of DVDs recorded at
Dan Kennedy's "2005 Platinum INNER CIRCLE Mastermind
Meeting."

These 4 DVDs are a group of guys and girls collectively
earning well over $100,000,000 sitting around a room
brainstorming and sharing with each other what's working
in their businesses, their test results, the latest in
many industries, etc. They EACH pay Dan five-figures just
for him to facilitate the meetings.

Within the first 10 minutes of listening to the
discussion, I had already jotted down an idea that
should make me over $1 million this year. If it doesn't,
it'll just be because I didn't follow through on it.
That can be a problem when you have so many incredible
ideas flying at you.

Why am I sharing this with you? You can no longer buy
the CDs from Yaniks' first Underground Seminar. You
CAN sign up for his second one. I also imagine that
the recordings from the seminar will be available
in a few months after the seminar.

I personally will be attending the seminar because
I want to get "a jump" on others who are also smart
enough, and proactive enough to actually put what is
revealed to them to use after these seminars.

The earlybird special for Yanik's March 2006 seminar
ends December 31st or when he sells out the seats. Last
year, the entire seminar sold out nearly 2 months early.
That should tell you something.

You can sign up for Yanik's Underground II at:
http://www.undergroundonlineseminar.com/investigator/

If you do plan on attending the seminar, let me know and
we can plan on at least meeting. My birthday is also
that weekend, so I may turn it into one long celebration.

One Of Many Smiling Faces From Michael Penland's

This is Tom Brownsword... one of many really nice and serious
business people that I met at Michael Penland's workshop.

Tom is one of those people who jumped right in and started applying what he learned. In-fact, he told me in an email that he worked on some things... based upon what he learned at the seminar, on his flight home.

Tom is a man after my own heart. I use my travel time to work start implementing new things I pick up at seminar too. That's how you get the greatest results. You don't wait a minute longer than you have to to get started!

Listen In Free As Willie Get's Yanik To Spill His Guts

yanik-silver.jpg
Yanik Silver

An MP3 you'll want to check out features my friend
Yanik Silver. Yanik was a virtual overnight success
online, but he spent many years in direct marketing before
going online.

In the interview that I did with Yanik, he reveals things
about a lot of people quietly making millions online. These
are people who largely would prefer not to be noticed. They
are NOT selling things in the Internet marketing niche.

Yanik shares some of what they are doing, and reveals some
of what he has learned from "hanging out" with these stealth
marketers. You can check out the MP3 from that interview
at: http://williecrawford.com/yanik-teleseminar.htm

I'll be at a seminar Yanik is hosting where he'll feature
people who actually earn EIGHT-figures per year online.
I know... this is mind-boggling, but not when they tell you
how they do it. There are numerous people earning millions
per MONTH on Ebay for example. You can check out Yanik's
seminar at:
http://undergroundonlineseminar.com/investigator

This seminar sold out almost 2 months early last year, so
don't get caught snoozing ;-)

"How A Newbie Sold $250,000 In Products & Services Using Joint Ventures"

Listen to Joel share how he personally sold $250,000 while he was still a newbie -- no marketing training, no sales training, no web design skills & no copyswriting skills -- and how he got the joint ventures by attending live events and seminars.

Joel recently did a teleseminar with JV Alert and you can access the recording free by clicking here.

The Big Break That You've Been Waiting For - Don't Miss It!

Here's an email I sent to part of my list this morning. Just in case
you missed it, I'm posting it here too. This really will change many
lives!

Here's the note...

I've just finished up an incredible seminar in Orlando,
Florida where I lined up half-a-dozen joint ventures.
Some of those joint ventures have the potential to
pay me seven-figures in the coming year. No, the joint
ventures I have in mind won't market your typical
Internet marketing products. Those products don't create
nearly as many millionaires as the types of JVs I get
invited into ;-)

I'm attending a second seminar in Orlando, in February,
2006. That seminar is designed to facilitate regular people
(people who might not have the name recognition that I do)
setting up massive joint ventures. We have sessions planned
where those in contact with large list owners, or those with
lots of investment capital, teach you how to get over those
hurdles.

Most people only need one big break. Most never get that
break... or don't recognize that break when they do get it
... so they don't take action.

Check out the February seminar. It will be that big break
for a handful of lucky/wise individuals. Others won't get
the break simply because they won't get into action and put
themselves in the right place at the right time.

Tonight, there's a free preview tele-seminar for the February
seminar. Join us on that free teleseminar tonight by
registering at:
http://www.jvAlertlive.com/phonecall.aspx?id=6

If you want more info on the seminar itself, check out:
http://jvAlertLive.com/?id=6

In-fact, I encourage you to check out the seminar now
because when you register by December 15th, you get to
bring 2 guests for free. What that really means is that you
can get together with three other serious business people
and split the cost. Incidentally, that's what I did at the
second seminar I attended. I split the cost with an online
friend, since we were allowed to bring a business partner for
free.

I SPOKE at the first seminar I ever attended, which gives you
an idea of how proactive I can be, but that's another story.
Ask me to tell you about that some day over lunch.

I don't want to take up too much of your time. I do encourage
you to join us on the call tonight. I also encourage you to
register for the tele-seminar today.

Getting out and meeting the people who can give you that big
break, AND are actually looking for people like you, is the
only way you're going to make massive breakthroughs.

The ball's in your court ;-)

Don't just sit and watch others winning the game. Get off
the bench and get into the game. It's the only way you can
score BIG TIME!

Willie Crawford

P.S.
By the way, if you do have a product that is a tremendous
idea, and the only thing holding you back is financing. I can
put you in touch with people who can help. You do have to
show enough initiative, and have enough faith in your own
project to get out an explain it to me and others though.

Fun At Michael Penland's Seminar

Michael Penland's seminar this weekend in Orlando
is one of the most fun ones I've been to. The
attendees are doing LOT of things together.

Last night some speakers, and some attendees, were
up until the early morning hours! I'll hopefully
get some pictures posted for you later.

The networking is very powerful here too. There are
a LOT of very serious business people here.

More specific notes later...

Here The Traffic Generation Method That Will DOMINATE The Next Few Years...

Here The Traffic Generation Method That Will DOMINATE The Next Few Years...

I just had to share with you a project that my partners and
I have been working on frantically for months. I'm down in
Orlando at a seminar but had to get this out to you now,
before you lose out big time.

This will turn out the be the biggest and best traffic
generation tool you'll see in the next several YEARS!

I and my partners Jack Humphrey, Mark Braunstein, Diana Barnum,
and Peter Lenkefi, have pulled off a zinger of a service!

If you want to find out why I have been so excited about Content
Propulsion Lab and its ability to take your business to levels
you have always dreamed about, you can now take a look at the
beginning of a new era in internet marketing science:

http://www.profitautomation.com/app/?af=333646

NOTE: You are the very first to hear about this launch. And
that is important for one big reason...

Only 150 people are going to be able to register for our
pre-launch price. One development is still under construction
and until it is ready, we are knocking serious money off this
membership!

And if you act quickly enough to grab one of these spots - you
are grand fathered in at that price for life!

Everyone else will pay much more for this service as it is
phenomenally valuable to ANY business on the web. Far far more
than we probably will ever charge for it.

You will start seeing emails from other folks on this, and by
that time, it will probably be too late.

Jack Humphrey is mailing out today as well because I want all
our members to get first crack before we up the price - whether
the special tool we are building in addition to everything else
in the membership is done or not.

After 150, the price goes up, no matter what. Remember that we
sold out Content Desk Charter Membership at $100 a month in 4
days back in March! We don't expect 150 Content Propulsion Lab
spots to last through the weekend.

So...

If you want to create and syndicate articles to the largest
network of content sites on the planet...

If you want to learn about 'New Media' marketing sciences that
no one else is talking about...

If you want to get traffic through podcasting audio and video...

If you want tools that skyrocket your sales and send boat loads
of traffic screaming to your domain...

...then you have to click for more info on this amazing new
place called Content Propulsion Lab!

http://www.profitautomation.com/app/?af=333646

See you on the inside ;-)

Willie Crawford

PS - We are having a new member webinar on Monday! We will be
taking you through the whole site, page by page, to show you all
the content creation and syndication goodies you are getting and
how to access everything in the site!

Checking In From Michael Penland's Seminar

Hi Guys,

This is my buddy Michael Penland. I'm hanging out at his seminar this
weekend. I speak Sunday morning.

michael-penland.jpg
Michael Penland.

The seminar is off to a great start and guaranteed to be profitable
for every attendee. That's because all of the attendees get the
resale rights to the DVDs from the workshop. These DVDs should
easily sell for $397 per set with probably $300 of that
