like posting to Search Engines, link listings,
newsgroups, & placing banner ads are among the most

These e-mails are not considered spam, nor will anyone
get mad for receiving them because they confirm that the
posting was successful (even if they do include a
"sales pitch").

link receives a sales pitch. One that gets no
flames, no hate mail, isn't considered spam, and WON'T
get them in trouble with their ISP. The only thing
